The #team of ReStone is very excited to announce our new Chief Financial Officer.
ReStone AS is seeing rapid growth in 2021 after a very successful 2020 where we started commercialization of our patented technology. As of 1st July 2021, we welcome Oyvind Wathne Aasmyr as our new #CFO.
As well as being overall responsible of all financial activities of the business, he will be an important contributor in the company’s further business and strategic development and this hire will further accelerate our growth.
This expansion and further development of our team will also put ReStone in a position to serve our customers the best way possible going forward.
Øyvind has a M.Sc. in Finance from Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He has 14 years of investment banking/corporate finance experience, working with a broad range of domestic and international clients focusing on technology companies within the oil&gas, maritime and seafood sectors.

ReStone AS is in a rapid growth period in 2021 after a very successful 2020. As of the first of May 2021, we have welcomed Ingvar Grannes into the role as CEO. This hire officially starts the accelerated growth process of ReStone and fully commercial deliveries of RePlug to the industry. The development of the team will allow ReStone to serve our customers in the best way.
Ingvar Grannes has more than 30 years of experience from the Petroleum industry, both from service companies and for major field operators. Ingvar have held positions as Well Service Supervisor and Senior Drilling Supervisor. Ingvar have been active in several start-up technology companies, from very early stage through commercialisation and growth stages. In the company Quality Intervention AS, Ingvar held a position as Chairman Of the Board and was responsible for development of a product line. His latest role was in Expro, holding the role of Vice President Product Line CoilHose.

ReStone AS is really happy to support the new SWIPA Center for Research-Driven Innovation that opened today at SINTEF. This centre will reduce costs for Permanent Plugging and Abandonment (#PP&A) by 50%.
There is so much work in this field to be done and ReStone is ready to contribute.
